Not all cinnamon is created equal. Ours is genuine Ceylon cinnamon — the variety known as “true cinnamon” — prized for its delicate, subtly sweet character. It comes from the inner bark of the Cinnamomum verum tree, grown chiefly in Sri Lanka.
Unlike the more common, cheaper Cassia found in most supermarkets, Ceylon cinnamon is lighter and more refined, and naturally contains far lower levels of coumarin. Our capsules are pure Ceylon cinnamon, with no fillers, made in the UK.
Ceylon, not Cassia
Much of the “cinnamon” sold today is actually Cassia. We use only genuine Ceylon — a distinction that matters for flavour, quality and character.
